Best Places to Visit in Chirala
Chirala
For those who don't know,
Chirala is a little town on
Andhra Pradesh's east coast that is 100 kilometres from Vijayawada. It is highly known for both its Ramapuram and Vodarevu beaches as well as for its textile industry.
It's not what we experienced, despite what some websites like ClearTrip claim about how clear the beaches are. Some places are clean while others aren't. On this list of Chirala tourist attractions, there is more information to be found.
Where to Stay in Chirala
In Chirala, there are a good number of options for lodging. It's simple to move around and book a stay if you're from the Andhra Pradesh region. However, MakeMyTrip and Booking.com are two possibilities for an outsider to choose a hotel.
Seabreeze Beach Resorts, Riviera, and Palm Coast are a few of the well-liked beachfront hotels in this area. The majority of these are offered at fantastic discounts on Booking.com.
The Riviera Beach resorts sit at the end of this row, directly in front of the beach, and all of these accommodations are near to one another along the shore.
Best Places to Visit in Chirala
1.Ramapuram Beach
After this beach, all the resorts start to appear. In front of the Palm Coast Resorts, it is situated. We had no trouble locating a secluded space to enjoy since it was spread out across a big area.
The evening is a fantastic time to explore this beach. Some choose to do photo shoots here since there are fewer people. In fact, when we went, a wedding picture session was taking place close there!
It isn't, however, as spotless as some websites make out. Despite the waves' inviting appearance, the shorelines are nevertheless littered with plastic and other trash.
2.Vodarevu Beach
The Chirala beach is another name for the Vodaveru beach. On the maps, they are at least both at the same location. This beach was packed throughout the day, so we skipped it.
This is the first beach you'll see when you arrive from the main road. There are numerous food carts serving a range of delicacies like panipuri here due to the high volume of visitors.
We went there just before it got dark and had some panipuri. It was enjoyable to experience the breeze by the sea here, but as we left, it was disappointing.
A garbage disposal system is typically absent from these kiosks that sell street cuisine to tourists. There was nowhere to dispose of the food after eating.

3.Muntha Vari Center
When visiting Chirala, you absolutely must try the pink beverage with the cashew nuts in it. As a traveller, I've always wanted to visit a local and sample their genuine specialties. Moreover, this was my first.
Regarding its location, it may be found on the streets of the Munta Vari Centre neighbourhood in Kotla Bazar, Chirala. Go get one for yourself if you spot a busy corner store where plenty of people are sipping cool drinks from long white cups in the sweltering afternoons.
4.Chirala Markets
The handloom business in Chirala is booming and well-known. It stands out for its distinctive cloth weaving and is one of India's most well-known handloom centres. They are renowned for manufacturing cotton and khadi traditional sarees.
Because of this, the Chirala markets here provide high-quality textile products at lower prices. Everything is accessible, including curtains, furnishings, bedspreads, and a range of bodywear.
Speaking of locations, the handlooms and shops are dispersed around the marketplace. Nevertheless, they are all nearby. All of these well-known stores, including Shri Balaji, Soundarya Silks, and Mahatma Gandhi Cloths, are nearby.
